Guide

A quick reference for using JetStream Planner.

  1. 1. Plan a route

    On the left, choose origin and destination airports, departure time, and pressure levels to analyze, then click Analyze Route.

  2. 2. Wind visualization

    In the right panel pick a dataset: Wind Speed or Turbulence Index, select time and pressure level. Enable Jet Isolines to highlight jet cores above a chosen threshold.

  3. 3. HUD & legend

    The HUD shows current coordinates and active settings. Toggle Show Legend to display value ranges for the active layer.

  4. 4. Fullscreen

    Use the Fullscreen button in the top-right corner of the map for better focus.

  5. 5. Route results

    After analysis, the great-circle route is shown on the map. The Route Analysis table lists statistics (Avg, P95, Max, Risk) per pressure level.

Note: this app is for educational wind pattern analysis only. Do not use it for real-world navigation.
